The Miller School of Albemarle, founded in 1878 by Samuel Miller, still educates students today. Upgrading athletic facilities, including the baseball and football fields, and providing improved access to them required careful layout and grading. New tennis courts offer students additional athletic and recreational opportunities. Improvements, including plantings, were also made to the school’s entrance drive.
