T he Poplar Forest Parkway project is officially underway. A ground-breaking ceremony held on site yesterday was livestreamed to present speeches from the representatives of Poplar Forest, the City of Lynchburg, Bedford County, and Rieley & Associates. Will Rieley thanked those, past and present, who brought us this far. The Poplar Forest Parkway is being constructed by Branch Civil, Inc. and is on schedule to be completed this year.
